River Stort Navigation S A W B R I D G E W O R T H L O C K Lock number: 5 Height: 7ft 5ins Sawbridgeworth Lock is on a bend in the river with attractive houses on the lock West side. Mooring is on the East bank. This is a deep lock and care should be taken with the ledges. Sawbridgeworth shops are a short walk to the West.
